Our CANADA Weekend Getaway

We don't travel a lot, and with my Photography business, I work so much in the summer, we hardly do anything special with the boys. I felt I needed to make it up to them and we decided to take them to Canada for the weekend. Jesse had an early dismissal that Friday and we could leave for our trip right after school. I was really excited to see the Niagara Falls, but the boys couldn't wait to jump right into the Indoor Watterpark pool.
This is our hotel we stayed at.

We had the most beautiful view from our hotel room, overlooking the Niagara Falls. It really was the highlight of the trip for me.

Boys goofing in front of the window with the Niagara Falls behind them...

I saw this sign leaning over the railing of our room ... just thought it was really cute.

Night scene from our balcony again...

Jesse jumping on our beds :) yeah... the little sleeping bag in the background is Luky :)

My very favorite photo from this trip - Night Niagara Falls Scene. I didn't know the falls were lighted at night.... this looks like a colored whipped cream to me :)

THE WATTERPARK

It was huge and fantastic, but Luky was cold a little bit, so we let Jesse and daddy enjoy all the rides themselves :)

... watchaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat for the watter!!!!! :)

After the watter fun, we headed into the streets and restaurants :) There was sooo much to see!

CRUISING THE CANADA STREETS

These photos are from the Rain forest Restaurant... beautiful...

Jesse choosing a postcard for our friend Petr, from Czech Republic ...

Look closer, there is Jesse's reflection in the glass... the shark moved so fast and Jess jumped away from the glass ...

Canada streets at night ...

Jesse in front of the Wax figurine museum ...

Us next to the World's Tallest person ...

Is Jesse the World's Fattest guys ? He better not! :)

THE DISNEY SHOW

This was totaly unexpected, but we found out that on Saturday, there will be a show and fireworks outside. We really had no idea about this and it was even more exciting. Every year they have huge stage setup and they have this beautiful show with lot of singing, dancing and some Disney characters. They also had a MAGICIAN and the boys were absolutely blown away. Just to explain, this whole show was actually WELCOMING THE HOLIDAYS and CELEBRATION OF LIGHTS.

This magician was absolutely amazing!

Fireworks after the show...

Boys loved the carriage rides... never did one though....

... and this one was taken out of my hotel room, from the earlier show....

It was a beautiful hotel we stayed in ...

... and few more shots from the Falls...

Jesse is such a monkey! :)

GAMING AND HERSHEY STORE

Mommy wouldn't stop taking pictures :) but we still love her! :)

This was the coolest attraction. The boys got each pair of glasses and a gun. Then they disappeared behind this door .... it was soooo scary! We had no idea how Luky will react, but then they appeared on the other side of the room :) both smiling and waiving like they were celebrities... they were adooorable! :)

This is just one part of this Playhouse. This room was a sinking boat... and we were really tilted this way :)

Cute dude isn't it? Not the yellow one! the one behind him! :)

Each of the boys got 100 tokens and Jesse spent most of them on driving these crazy cars :) and Luky loved playing balls...

Our trip just wouldn't be complete without going to see this GIANT HERSHEY kiss. OK, now we can go home :)

... and this one is a GIANT REESES peanut butter CUP. INSANE! But mmmm mmmm GOOD!

YUMMY!!!

It was a wonderful wonderful and wonderful trip :) THANK YOU! :)

Oh, we also carve few more master pieces :) Check it out!

OK, and these are our costumes for this year's Halloween: :) They were both PILOTS! Luky Loooooves planes, but he sure didn't wanna wear his bomber jacket and cool hat, goggles and scarf. Luckily, we had enough wonderful people to wear it for him :)

Pumpkins and Mazes

Like every fall, we go to pumpkin patches and mazes. This year, it's been soooo cold but few days ago, it was such a nice day! Luky and me waited for Jess to get of the bus and headed to a maze not far from here. Actually, it is a huge maze and from last year's experience, we decided to print out a maze map :) It was still hard but we made it out just before they closed :) It was a lot more fun with the map though :) Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, don't tell them! :)

This happy pumpkin has to bring smile to everyone's face .... :)

There are sheep, pigs, donkeys and little baby cows :)

This part was mommy's favorite... three little pig houses :) soooo cute!

... and here we go MAZE! This is a photo of the maze from an airplane :)

Working on our way out....

Lost in the maze?

YEP! We made it! We still had couple of minutes for a great Pumpkin photo :)

Each boy picked up a small pumpkin to carve. We stopped in Walgreens on the way home and bought the little carving knifes.... we could hardly wait to work on the master pieces! :)

Here is mine....

and this one is mine!

And we loooooooooove our pumpkins ...

Let's blow em off :)

The next day, we had to go get the Big Pumpkins.... and this was a scary displays ... veeery scary, Look at the driver!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh, look at Jesse's leg! OUCH! :)

Very serious debate... I think they are making a decision about..... who knows what! :)

They are such characters :)

Yep, this one daddy! .... but toooooooooooooooooooooooooo heavyyyyyyyyyy!!!

OK, lets load em all....

I got it!! Pop the trunk! :)

Jesse's 6th Birtday MARIO Parties

Yes, PARTIES :) We had a family party for Jesse and the following week, he invited some friends to the Roseland Bowling Alley to play. Both of his parties were fantastic! At first he thought his favorite cousins couldn't make it but luckily, they returned from their trip on time and celebrated with us.

BOWLING ALLEY PARTY

This party was kind of a Last minute decision. :) All of Jesses's invited friends accepted his invitation and the party couldn't go any better. Everyone had such a great time!

Jesse and his cake ...

Luky feeding Mario his Mushroom ...

Mario #2 at his final destination ... the bowling alley ...

... and Mario watching the games while being eaten :) Goofy guy :)

This is the cutest photo... all the kiddies gathered around MARIO

We have so many photos we would like to share, that's why we created this slide show. If you click the SOUND icon in the left upper corner, you should hear music along... enjoy! These are the most adorable photos :)

THANK YOU EVERYONE for making my 6th Birthday soooo SPECIAL! It would never be the same without You all in it... Love, Jesse

Airplane day

I just happened to photographer a beautiful family with new born twin boys. They are soooo cute! So we talk and talk and they offered us a plane ride! WOW! Both, Jill and Chris are PRO pilots and run the airport in Canandaigua. Well, we came the next day to see the planes, but the weather just wasn't cooperating that day, so we were checking out all the little planes. It was amazing! Of course, me being protective mommy was afraid at first, but I am actually were excited to for a quick site seeing ride. We will definitely post when it happens, but the weather has been playing with us a bit...

This one is my favorite plane :) It kinda looks like a bee :)

This gorgeous young lady is my friend, and the pilot who will fly us around :)

The boys were in seventh heaven ...

... and a little family photo for the blog :)

Jesse's First Bus Ride and First Day at School

This event was such a big deal! :) Jesse could hardly fall asleep the night before. This was the first time he was finally getting on the bus :) Of course, this was a test drive, with mom or dad, then coming to school to meet our teacher :)
This is Jesse waiving at his bus :) He was sooo cute! He couldn't stop smiling the whole time riding his bus.

Luky and Daddy met us at school. Luky wasn't really happy in the classroom and daddy took him for a walk and they were checking out all the buses. This one is #55, Jesse's bus...

Jesse being tested by his teacher :)

After the orientation, we went down the lake and had a picnic :) We Love Mickey D :)

... and this is THE DAY. :) His very first time on the bus all alone! He was a little nervous, but couple stops later, his favorite cousin Casey got on the bus and took Jesse all the way to his classroom. Jesse was soooo excited! :)

... it was a loooong wait .... :)

..... aaaaaaaaaaaaah... aren't they adorable?

YEP! The bus is here! Luky turned to us and said: "OK mommy bye bye!" He was used to go with Jesse everywhere and couldn't understand why he cannot leave with him. He cried a while, but calmed down after :)

OK mom and dad, see ya later! Love ya ...

And this one is Jesse off the bus his first day :)

His first thought was to get in his lunch bag and eat his food :) I think he was too shy to eat at school.... just like his mommy! :)

YUMMY.... it was GOOD! :)

LUCAS'S Bus RIDE
Luky was devastated every morning when he couldn't get on the bus with Jesse. It was breaking my heart :) and I called the local bus service. CATS - County Area Transit System. We scheduled a ride for the following Monday. The bus picked us up at 9.30am took us to Walmart :) We shopped for an hour and the bus picked us up again, and drove us back home :) Luky was the happiest little boy that day :) and that's what counts right?

K, let's get on the bus mommy!

He was the cutest little pumpkin :)

I am here mommy! I am sitting all by myself!

Hurry up mommy, the Kitty Cat bus is waiting for us!

OK, now, I have to put this adventure on the blog.... ;)

Ufffff, it was an exhausting day!

THEEEEEEEEEEEE END.

Jesse got potty trained in Czech as well :) there is something about that country :) Well... we tried few times earlier, but Luky wasn't interested, but this time... we got it! :) Now, he has been potty trained for over 6 months! YAHOOOO!!! Congratulations Luky :)

The boys' portrait sessions

Even Jesse and Lucas have their Pro portraits done few times a year :) Jesse got his few minutes before he yanked his tooth out :) then he was allowed to pull it. Luky... was scheduled to have his done this past summer at the Yacht club. I always loved this place and wished to do one of my boy's pictures there. Jesse's session took about 15 minutes, Lucas's .... about an hour! :) He was such a little rascal! :) I think the pictures turned out really cute :)

These two photos are from Lucas's indoor session ...

... and Luky outdoors ....

Jesse playing Lax

Jesse got to play lacrosse this year, but only for few weeks. Couple of weeks before our trip to Czech and then couple of weeks after we returned. His dad was also coaching and I think that's what kept him going. He is still very shy but warms up quickly :) He was soooo cute under that big heavy helmet :-)

Luky on the side line ...

Grooming and more

Jesse never did anything like using mom's lipstick or drawing on the walls, but this summer, he really caught up. One day, he took a permanent marker and drew lines all around the entrance room and kitchen... and if he couldn't reach the wall, he just continued over the furniture. Unfortunately, I was so mad I didn't take a photo, but the next day, he came to cuddle. I touched the side of his head and felt something funny. He gave him self a haircut! I definitely took picture of that! He has quite short hair, but still managed to cut more... :) He looked sooo funny.

... and here is Lucas and his Professional haircut... I don't think this was one of his best ones :)

Luky dressed himself :)

The boys dipping their dirty feet in the sink :)

JESSE pulling his tooth out :) OUCH

Catching up on Summer Fun '09

I think this was one of the boys' favorite activities this summer, going on Dicky's boat. Jesse has been driving it all alone! He knows more about driving a boat than me and Steve together! :) They always drove the boat in front of our house, and called me to get on the deck and wave :) Actually, I was on the phone with Dicky while I was taking this photo :) Can you see it? :)

These baloons have been flying over our house quite often, but this time they were playing around... I think they were racing who will get to dip in the lake :)

TRIPS to WATTERPARK
We got to go to Watterpark few times this year. Lucas is a little bigger and enjoyed the fun a lot more than last year.

... justaminute, be right theu ...

We made this huuuuge 30ft watter slide this summer. It was sooooo much fun! :-) The boys couldn't stop sliding.... it really was a fantastic idea ...

STEAM BOAT RIDE
This summer, we were very lucky to be invited to ride this awesome little Steam boat. It was big enough for about 5 people :) and it took quite a bit of work to keep this beauty running, but it was definitely awesome to experience the ride. We actually just drove by McDonald's and saw this boat on a trailer. The owners approached us talked to us for a while. We really just wanted to see the boat getting in the watter and this wonderful couple asked us to come along for a ride. It was fantastic. It was so nice of them! The boys were sooo excited because all the other boaters were waving at us. They didn't last very long though... running the boat was quite loud, and lot of steam coming towards us... well, here are some photos, I hope you enjoy them :)

... few photos from playing at home...

Luky really loves grilling :)

... aaand sleeping on the tractor ...

... aaand splashing too...

These next two photos are from grandma's pool... this is how they dry laundry :) I just thought it was the cuttest picture :-)

Some more photos of the boys. They do argue over little things, but they really Love each other very much. Jesse is very protective, and Lucas is so excited when we pick up Jesse earlier from school or when the bus brings Jess home. :) They love playing together.

Jesse's Stuff, playdates and school

Last year, Jesse was in UPK and he loved playing with Kate and we loved having her along... I never posted these photos but still think they are worth of sharing :)

It is so beautiful around here, and our very favorite spot to go to is the Kershaw playground ...

After exhausting play dates, we get our Mickey D lunch and chill in the car, watching movies :)

Some more playdates ... this one was with the boys' cousins, Casey and Conner ... they are all such funny dudes :)

This is Jordan and he was helping us this past Summer. The boys Loved spending time with him and Luky talkes about him a lot... we hope he can come and play again soon! :)

I feel like we had so much going on with animals in May... do you remember the post about the butterflies? At about the same time, we found snails in our drive way... we took care of them for few days... even brought them to Jesse's class to study them and then let them go free :)

One day, after we picked Jesse up from school, we saw this beautiful bunch of deers hanging out right by the road... amazing!

... and these cutties were hangin out in our back yard ...

Here are some photos from last year's school ending ... the kids were so adorable! :) Jesse was an Old King Cole :)
